When you're selling your property, one of the big decisions you need to make is whether or not to include the white goods.

What are white goods?
They are appliances such as washing machines, dryers, dishwashers, ovens and refrigerators.

If they are integrated into the property- that is, if they are built in and can't be removed without causing damage- then they are assumed to be staying with the property.

However, if they are free standing then it's up for negotiation.
Most buyers won't assume that free standing appliances will be staying unless you specifically say so in your listing.
Another thing to keep in mind is that some appliances, like range cookers and American-style fridge freezers, can actually sell for a lot of money.
So if you're planning on selling your property with white goods, be sure to mention it in your listing and include an estimated value for each appliance.

The key thing to remember is that if they are integrated into the property then they are deemed to be staying, but if they are free standing then it's up for negotiation.

Happy selling!
