It is also important to know your rights and responsibilities when it comes to the property.
If you are unsure if you can or cannot do something, make sure to ask your landlord or the letting agent.
Finally, keep documents of everything given to you in a safe place, and communicate clearly if you want to redecorate or repaint.
Doing these things will help ensure that you have a good relationship with your landlord.
